We all need to dream.
Daydreams that for a moment brings us to a wonderful place - a sanctuary.
Dreams about the future, which you may afterward set goals to achieve.
Dreams of the unattainable, but jet have a satisfaction of striving for the best one can.
The girl in the picture could be the child of a deployed soldier, officer, or similar. Maybe her dream is that they will come home safely? - maybe for Christmas?
I am grateful for the many who sacrifice themselves so that we can be safe.
No one understands what they are sacrificing unless they have been in their shoes.
Beautiful sentiments in your post Conny, I completely agree with all you've said about having dreams. Your card is wonderful! You did a fantastic job colouring the sweet image and I love the way you made the sentiment with the large, shiny letters. Fabulous!
