Update on Lars

 Hi

The last time I wrote, I told you, that Lars had fallen and that fortunately, nothing had happened ...

Well...
The pain in his back became worse after a week. Lars has a very high pain threshold, so when he says he is in pain, it is because he is in a lot of pain. We, therefore, choose to seek medical help.
Our GP referred Lars for an X-ray. Usually, when you are referred by your GP, to have X-rays taken, it takes 3 week days before you can call our GP, and get an answer...
When the radiologist showed up, we were therefore well aware that something had been found on the X-rays.

Lars has fallen twice, and something was wrong.
The pictures showed a collapse in the back, which was not new. The doctor thought this came from the first fall, which happened abt. 6 weeks ago.
There was just one more thing - a broken rib! This was new, so it must have accrued at the latest fall.  No wonder Lars is in pain!

Lars is more tired than usual, so he sleeps more.

Lars' sister visited us yesterday. Lars had really been looking forward to her visit. Despite the anticipation, he had to go to bed and sleep twice - each time for 1 hour. Fortunately, Lars' sister, Inger, is fantastic. She and I sat and talked while Lars slept. She does not expect anything from Lars. She takes things as they come. I just love my sister-in-law.

Can you wish for more?
