To day the letter is "Y"! Why, oh why... such a difficult letter... This is what I came up with.
Yesterday we were a part of the Bækkebo Christmas Market.
Corona was a BIG part of the Christmas Market!
All had to show a Corona pass, All had to wear a face mask, and a lot of hand sanitizers were to be found.
Normally all those who are selling, are in the same room abt. 8-10 booths. This year there were 2 booths. We were one of of them!! But we were in separate rooms, and only 5 persons were allowed in the room.
Well, you can argue that it was not at all what it used to be: singing, laughing, being social and playing games with Santa. but I will argue that this time, to day, was much more interacting with each, just on another level - in another way, than previously. We TALKED, and LISTENED, we shared and even pondered. The noise was gone - we SAW each other- I loved it!
To those who do not know what Bækkebo is: This is the place where our daughter lives. It is a care facility for those with autism, who cannot live alone. It's a wonderful place. The staff is caring and friendly. Most of them have worked there for more than 20 years. The philosophy is that this is the residents' HOME, and they as staff are visitors to their homes, where they show respect and care for them.
