A new day!

Here in Denmark it is almost 7 in the morning so:
Hello to a new day, and new opportunities.

I was admitted to hospital last week. I was in pain all the time, and it had become unbearable.
In turn, this time, the doctores have found out what they believe is wrong with me:
my attacts are miner vovulus. It fits with the symptoms.
What can they do to help me? Nothing, just give me medicine.
Becaurse the seizures are small, they will not operate.

Something positive is that yesterday I was painfree for the first time in 2 weeks.
I´m now the same diet, as the one I was on, just after my obesity surgery in 2010, and it seems to work!!!

I've wondered something about
  • who we think we are,
  • why do we endure the pain and problems that life offers us?
  • Who teaches us what is right or wrong?
Yesterday, I read in 2 Nephi 27:25 in the Book of Mormon. I would like to share it with you. This is only 1½ line of the verse,
... And their fear of me is learned by man's laws "

I don't like when a sentence is taken out of context. These words just hung with me the rest of the day.
  • Some do not believe in a God who can guide and inspire,
  • Some may not see a purpose in what they go through during the time they are on earth,
  • Some may think that life here is all there is ...
I believe in a Heavenly Father who inspire and guide us. That we will one day return to Him again. Hardships, challenges or whatever you want to call it, is to shape our character. That we through our live here, show our love for Him, who is the Father of our spirit.

Now remember while reading the scriptures, that fear in oldens days also meant honor and respect. So basically the scriptur says:

"man's respect for me is learned by man's laws"

What do our children learn today:

  • That there is no God?
  • That it does not matter if we keep the commandments which He has given?
  • That we are Christians in a country founded on Christian values, but do not care about Him - is that good enough?

If we do not teach our children - others will!
If we do not teach our children - can we blame that they accept what other teach and believe?

My heart burn for the freedom to choose. I believe very strongly that you should not force your believe on someone else.

My thought is simply : What are the values we provide our children with?~
