I'm not sure I can handle any more surprises right now...

This digi stamp's from
I LOVE the sentiment. It is something we should all remember.

We have been blessed that we are finally getting through the corona.

Lars has had a great good week. It's so nice to see him back to his "normal" self again. He's tired, but that's all.

I had breathing difficulties/and fever,  I therefore had x-rays of my lungs yesterday.
Cleared of pneumonia or other things, I just have to be patient and I will soon be fit-for-fight again.

But life here at home are never boring - it never has been.

Yesterday I overlooked Lars' walker (I wonder how I could miss it!!!). I fell over it, then  into a low bookcase, then into a desk - and finally hitting the dining table! A trip to the emergency room showed that I had broken my wrist!

We have a big wish right now:  no more surprises/accidents. We just want some peace.

As always, I try to see something positive in the situation: It could have been worse! It's my right wrist that's broken - and  I'm left-handed!!!

Mads, our grandson, loves his grandfarther, This picture was taken, the first time Mads came to visit after Lars had fallen. All Lars could do, was sitting in a chair. Mads was more than happy with that. They looked at Mads' ipad for a very long time. Then Lars had to go and lay down.

I made these Victorian lantern from an svg file from Dreaming Tree.
The things that can be bought there, are mostly easy to make. The thing that make me go back to this store time and time again, is that there's a free video tut to each project. EVEN to the many free projects they share with you. Their prizes are more than fair. If you don't know this company, so check it out at: https://www.3dsvg.com

Not a great picture...

  1. Oh dear Conny, I'm so sorry to read that you've broken your wrist! It sounds like a very bad fall with you hitting so many things on the way down. I hope your wrist doesn't take too long to heal... it's hard work to be one-handed.
Thank you for sharing all the beautiful cards you created, they are wonderful. I was also amazed at the gorgeous lanterns! I couldn't believe they were made of paper.
The photo of Lars and Mads is absolutely beautiful. He is a sweet child and it's a memory he will always hold onto. I imagine this sort of contact would also be wonderful for Lars.
    Take care of yourselves.
    Cheers,
